Come together with us as we raise funds and awareness for the organization Border Kindness. Cocktail hour begins at 6p — there will be champagne and a silent auction while we enjoy the music of Mariachi Oro de Mexico KC. Live Music and Dancing will follow. Food and drinks will be available for purchase from The Rino. “Border Kindness responds to the immediate needs of migrants and refugees – as well as identifies and assists other organizations that efficiently and justly help the vulnerable in the Mexicali/Calexico Border Region. Border Kindness provides a solution for refugees – and for the people and organizations that work tirelessly to help them. We provide migrants, refugees and the displaced with comprehensive services that include food, shelter, clothing, medical care and legal services. Our programs and interventions are designed to identify, protect and nurture the most vulnerable – including women, children, elderly and families.
