Second Annual NKC Music Fest Returns This Weekend

The Second Annual NKC Music Fest returns to North Kansas City with more than 30 acts scheduled to perform rock, punk, hip-hop, jazz, blues, and other styles. The inspiration for the festival remains the same. Organizer and founder Ed Burns says, “The original idea hasn’t changed. A wide variety of local bands perform at a nice sampling of NKC spots. Iron District Debuts Soon

Grain to Glass owner Jennifer Helber organizes and hosts Picnique Belgique, a Belgian-inspired beer festival held on Saturday, September 7, 5-9 pm. St. Louis native Cindy Diebold Bardon moved to Kansas City several years ago.
