The Second Annual NKC Music Fest returns to North Kansas City with more than 30 acts scheduled to perform rock, punk, hip-hop, jazz, blues, and other styles. Phil and Linda Hopkins entered their first barbecue contest in 1997 and began accruing awards within a few years.
